CAPE COAST : KOSA SUPPORT ABOOM SPECIAL SCHOOL

The central regional chapter of the Komenda old students association,  (KOSA) have donated items worth GH 2,500 to support the Methodist Special School at  Aboom in  the Central region.

The donation worth two thousand five hundred Ghana cedis includes electrical gadget, exercise books, shoes, sandals and  toiletries, rice, gari, eggs and other sanitaries.

Presenting the items  to the school, vice chairman of the association Mr. Andzi Quainoo said,  KOSA members are not only restricted to the four walls of the classroom but to affect the world positively as teachers.

He also touched on the need to take good care of the items donated to them.

President of the central KOSA chapter, Lawrence Bosiwuah expressed his emotions and applauded the staff for the great job they are doing and advised them to take the pupils as their own for them to feel at home.

She added that the association is bent on ensuring that the Aboom Methodist Special School gets the best of facilities to support their activities.

Isaac Owusu, a representative from rotary club promised, the Club will come together with KOSA to do more of this, since they are in existence for humanity.

Headmistress of the school, Mary Osei Akuffo who could not hide her joy expressed her appreciation to KOSA central region for their kind gesture and promised the items would be put into good use.

The gesture is part of a week long activities by central regional chapter of the Komenda old students association to launch the local association and its 70th anniversary.
