Drug abuse, alcoholism and teenage pregnancy on the acendency in Jukwa.

The district cheif executive for Heman Lower Denkyira Emmanuel Kodwo Nannah has expressed worry about the increasing rate of alcoholism, drug abuse and teenage pregnancy in jukwa in the Heman Lower Denkyira of central region.

According to the Dce, the latest survey conducted, placed Jukwa first, on the teenage ladder in the central region making the problem more worrying.

He spoke exclusively to Okokrokofm’s Kweku Bee Abrante at the first anniversary celebration of
the Group Operations Alliance Academy School (GOPA) in Jukwa.

He also lashed parents for always attending functions late when it has to do with education.

The school after undergoing some reformations have changed its name from Pastor Amponteng Memorial Academy (POMA ) school complex to Group Operations Alliance Academy School (GOPA) in Jukwa.

Some brilliant students who excelled in their various classes were rewarded with others presented with certificates.
