2Paddys who got nominated last year (2016) on Central Music Awards scheme in the categories of “New Best Artiste” and “Hip –Gospel Song Of The Year” felt that, the managers (20/20 Multi-Media) of Central Music Awards have cheated them by not nominated them in this year’s edition.
According to the duo artistes (2Paddys), they said, they worked very hard from October 2016 to October 2017 by the released and promotion of their tracks “Turn Me On” – Hip Life featured Koo Ntakra and “So Strong” – Hip Gospel featured O’Jay. All these tracks was promoted on social media, by bloggers and radio station in Central, Western, Eastern and Greater Accra regions.
They continued that, they completed the online forms for all their mentioned tracks above and send their mp3 and pictures to Central Music Awards official e-mail address but yet no nomination.
“We personally filed the online forms for the tracks which was released and promoted on the calendar of which Central Music Awards (CMA2017) used to nominate artistes. The nomination list came out and we were not part. We really felt cheated – 2Paddys
